NEW THIS YEAR!!
This year's Labor Day Parade will be held on Friday, August 29 with an exciting line-up!!!
This will be a year of incredible recognition for labor as the Drum Corps Associates join the Labor Council to march through the streets of the City of Rochester.
The normal parade route and assembly areas have been adjusted slighty to accommodate a Friday evening parade and its subsequent traffic implications.
- The parade will begin on East Ave. at Lawrence St. instead of at Alexander St., allowing Alexander St. to remain open to traffic that is exiting Downtown and entering the East End.
- Assembly will take place on streets surrounding the adjusted starting point.
- No parking will be allowed along East Ave. from Alexander St. to Main St., or on Main St. from East Ave. to N. Plymouth Ave. from 2 p.m. to approximately 9 p.m. on Fri., Aug. 29. Cars parked there will be towed or relocated at owner's expense.
