Loading...

City leaf collection completed for Fall 2011!

The Department of Environmental Services- with the cooperation of Rochester's weather- completed loose leaf pickup for 2011.

What if I have leaves that fell after pickup was completed?

You can always bag your leaves and leave them at the curb on your normal garbage pickup day.

Which week can I expect my leaves to be picked up?

What to do:

You can dispose of your leaves in 3 convenient ways:

  1. Rake loose leaves into a pile between the sidewalk and the curb before the Monday of your scheduled pick-up week.
  2. Bring loose leaves to the drop-off site at Ferrano and Coflax Streets .
  3. Bag your leaves place them at the curb along with the rest of your garbage on your regular refuse day.

What NOT to do:

  1. Do NOT rake loose leaves into the street.
  2. Do NOT drop off bags at Colfax Street.
  3. Do NOT expect bagged leaves to be picked up on any other day than your normal garbage collection day.
