City Councilmember Mitch Gruber will be joined by City Historian Christine L. Ridarsky and Rochester Institute of Technology Asst. Professor of History Michael Brown to discuss the evolution of the iconic Broad Street Bridge. Built in 1842, the bridge crossing the Genesse River Downtown has had many uses, from the Erie Canal aqueduct, to subway tunnel, to graffiti art gallery, to ROC The Riverway project. The free event is open to the public and refreshments will be provided.
