News Release – ROC the Block Community Employment Fair to Take Place July 12 at Lightfoot R-Center

(Thursday, July 6, 2023) – The next ROC the Block employment fair will take place next week from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at The Honorable Willie Walker Lightfoot R-Center for Equity and Justice, 271 Flint St.

The ROC the Block employment fair series is a community-based initiative that brings businesses, recruiters and community agencies together in a fun, localized, block-party atmosphere where job seekers can discover employment opportunities and community resources.

The next ROC the Block employment fairs will take place:

  • 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 9 – Edgerton R-Center, 41 Backus St.
  • 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 27 – Parcel 5 Downtown, 285 E. Main St.
