City of Rochester

News Release

(Monday, Aug. 28, 2023) – The City of Rochester Food Truck Rodeo series continues at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30 with more food, drinks, and fun at the Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St. This week’s event will feature indie music group Junkyard Field Trip.

The Food Truck Rodeos run from 5 to 9 p.m. on the last Wednesday of each month. Each Rodeo showcases live music from a wide range of musical genres, including rock, blues, indie, pop, and reggae.

This year’s final Food Truck Rodeo will take place Wednesday, Sept. 27 with folk rock and blues band Big Blue House.

Bringing your own chair and even table is highly recommended, as picnic tables at the event are limited. It is also recommended that you carpool, bike, walk, or take public transit to this event due to potential traffic congestion surrounding the market. No outside food or beverages except on sealed bottle of water may be brought in. Bags will be subject to search.
