City of Rochester News Release
(Monday, April 22, 2024) – Celebrating Rochester’s mobile cuisine, local beer, and fabulous live music scene, the popular Food Truck Rodeos event series will kick off with live music performed by Unstruck from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 24 at the City of Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St.
The Food Truck Rodeos draw tens of thousands of hungry attendees and dozens of food trucks selling a bounty of creative dishes, drinks, and desserts bursting with Rochester flavor. This event series, co-hosted by Rohrbach Brewing Company, will take place on the last Wednesday of the month, April through September.
This year’s local entertainment lineup is more dynamic and varied than ever before, with regional acts performing blues, soul, funk, gospel, and rock.
After Wednesday’s kick-off with Unstruck, the remining music lineup will be:
- May 29: Miller and Other Sinners;
- June 26: Cool Club & the Lipker Sisters;
- July 31: Big Blue House
- August 28: The Earthtones
- September 25: Bill Schmitt and the Blues Masters.
Attendees are encouraged to carpool, bike, use transit, or walk to the event. Folding chairs are recommended because seating is limited on Market grounds.
