(Thursday, April 22, 2010) – It’s time to get busy with spring cleaning, yard work and outdoor recreation. Is your body ready for all the welcome rigors of the warm seasons? Allow members of the University of Rochester American Medical Student Association to check your wellness at their annual Community Health Fair, Saturday, April 24, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St.
A host of community groups have signed up to provide a free health check to anyone who wants one. Information will be on hand for heart disease, cancer and diabetes screenings. Meet members of Physicians for Human Rights, Latino Health Pathway and the Aging Well Institute.
