(Friday, June 21, 2013) – The Department of Recreation and Youth Services’ Youth Voice One Vision Youth Council and the Edgerton Community Center are inviting young people ages 13 to 18 to the annual Beach Bash from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, June 25 at Nola’s restaurant, 4775 Lake Ave.
The Beach Bash will combine entertainment and education with dinner, dancing, youth performances and on-site rapid HIV testing. Admission is $5 at the door or $3 for those who registered in a youth group who attend with an adult advisor. Youth must present school I.D. to be admitted.
Du-rags, bandanas, tube tops, or clothing printed with suggestive material, foul language or gang symbols will not be allowed into the Beach Bash.
