City of Rochester News Release -- Community Garage Sales Resume at the Rochester Public Market on Sunday, June 16, 2019
(Thursday, June 13, 2019) – The third Community Garage Sale of the season will take place at the City of Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St., on Sunday, June 16.
The Sunday Community Garage Sales, which run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., bring dozens of garage sale-type vendors together in one place, creating a huge variety of bargain collectibles and curiosities, as well as practical items such as clothing, tools, bicycles, sporting goods, kitchen items and much more.
Individuals and organizations interested in selling items at the Market can rent a 10 by 30-foot vending space for $30 per space, per event. If six or more dates are reserved, a lower rate per date is offered. Commercial vendors are also welcome. Vendor information and applications can be obtained at www.cityofrochester.gov/garagesales or by calling or visiting the Market at (585) 428-6907 from 7 a.m. to noon, Tuesday through Friday.
In addition to the sales, cafes and food stands on the grounds of the Market and in the Public Market District are open for business on Garage Sales Sundays.
Remaining dates for the 2019 Community Garage Sale season are as follows (all Sundays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.): June 23, 30; July 7, 14, 21, 28; August 4, 11, 18, 25; September 8, 22, 29; and October 6, 13, and 20.
