City Offices to Close in Observance of Good Friday

 

(Tuesday, March 30, 2021) - Rochester City Hall, Neighborhood Service Centers, R-Centers and other administrative offices will be closed on Friday, April 2 in observance of Good Friday.

Refuse and recycling collection will continue as normally scheduled.

 The City R-Centers that host pandemic-related meal distribution sites will also be closed Friday. Children are encouraged to pick up extra meals on Thursday before the long weekend. Meal distribution sites can be found at https://www.cityofrochester.gov/coronavirus/

 The 311 Call Center will be open on Friday, April 2 from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Rochester Animal Services will be open by appointment for adoption and lost pet recovery during pandemic adjusted hours of  9-3 p.m. Call 428-7274 to schedule an appointment.

 All branches of the Rochester Public Library will be open, however, some City branch libraries are limited to either curbside services or appointments only. For a list of specific branch operations and hours, visit https://roccitylibrary.org/spotlight/reopening/

Asymptomatic COVID-19 testing will continue as normally scheduled from 3 - 6 p.m., Friday, April 2 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 141 Adams St. To sign up for an asymptomatic COVID-19 test, please visit https://www.monroecounty.gov/healthcalls/register. Walk-ins are welcome.
