News Release – Final “RPO Around the Town” Concert to Take Place Tuesday

(Monday, July 31, 2023) – The City of Rochester and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) will present the summer’s final “Around the Town” concert at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, Aug. 1 at the Northeast Neighborhood Service Center, 500 Norton St.

“The Around the Town concerts bring world-class, classical music right to our backyards and I’m proud to continue the City’s longstanding support of the RPO to provide these free, family-friendly, outdoor concerts,” said Mayor Malik D. Evans. “I encourage everyone to come out and experience the best of Rochester’s musical talent.”

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chair or a blanket. Around the Town concerts are made possible by the City in conjunction with the Susan B. Anthony Neighborhood Association, the Park Avenue Neighbors and Park Avenue Merchants Association, the Joseph Avenue Arts and Culture Alliance, and the Maplewood Neighborhood Association.
