Free Food, Live
Music, Hispanic Heritage Link Gallery Exhibit
(Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023) – Mayor Malik D. Evans invites the community to join the City of
Rochester’s Hispanic Heritage Committee to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month at
the second annual Hispanic Heritage Month Block Party!
This free
celebration will take place from 4:30 to 7 p.m. this Friday, Sept.15, at City
Hall, 30 Church St. (between State and Fitzhugh streets), and will include:
- Free
food
- Live
music by Banda Light
- Live
Performances, and
- the
Hispanic Heritage Month Link Gallery exhibit!
The City of
Rochester Link Gallery will be open for the duration of the block party and
will return to regular City Hall hours beginning Monday, Sept. 18.
The Link Gallery,
located at 30 Church Street on the first floor of City Hall in the corridor
connecting Building A to Building B, is open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through
Friday. The Link Gallery is free, handicapped accessible, and open to the
public.
Church Street
between State and Fitzhugh Streets will be closed to traffic during the event.
