City of Rochester

News Release

(Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023) – There’s still time for non-profits, business, and other organizations that serve families and children to take part as vendors in the Annual Halloween at the Market, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 29 at the City of Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St.

The event features trick-or-treating for children, theater and musical performances, arts and crafts, hayrides throughout the market, interactive games, photo booths and food and beverage vendors. Attendees are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes and vendors are also encouraged to dress up, provide interactive activities, hand out goodies, and decorate their stands.

Presented by Fidelis Care, Halloween at the Market is a great extra costume and trick or treating opportunity for children and families. It is an excellent way for local community organizations and businesses to connect with thousands of local families and network with local organizations across various sectors.

The event is free and open to the public and will be held rain or shine.

Vendor participation is also free; however, vendor applications are required. Visit www.cityofrochester.gov/markethalloween to obtain an application, which must be submitted to PMarket@cityofrochester.gov. The deadline to apply for a vending stall is Friday, Oct. 20.
