Welcome
Welcome to the City of Rochester's Bureau of Inspection and Compliance Services web-site. We recently made many changes to the site in an attempt to provide useful information and make it easier for our customers to navigate. Our Bureau is responsible for the application and enforcement of building and property codes that ensure public safety and property maintenance.
These efforts are accomplished through our critical processes described below. We perform these duties with a focus on customer service. The proper maintenance of our aged housing stock plays an important role in the future success of our city. We would like to thank all of our property owners who are doing their part to make Rochester the best mid-sized city in the U.S. in which to live, raise a family, visit and grow a business by properly maintaining the structures they own. We hope you will find this site useful. If you have suggestons for improvement or if you would like to see additional information displayed, please let us know.
