News Release - Mayor Thomas S. Richards Announces More Local Food, Local Brew and Local Bands at Second Food Truck Rodeo

(Monday, June 24, 2013) — After a successful start, the Food Truck Rodeo is gearing up for its second event, to be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26 at the Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St. More than 20 vendors will serve up anything that can be served out of a truck window and live music will be provided by Out of the Blue. Bring your own chair and come out to enjoy local food, local brew and local bands. There is no entrance fee for this event.

Remaining Food Truck Rodeos will be held on the following Wednesday evenings, from 5 to 9 p.m.: July 31, August 28 and September 25.

A special Food Truck Rodeo has been set for Friday, September 13, in collaboration with the Greentopia Festival. Visit www.cityofrochester.gov/foodtruckrodeo to view a full schedule of vendors and entertainment.

Applications for Food Truck operators to participate are available online or at the Public Market office.
