Lakeside Summer Celebration Kicks Off at Charlotte
(Thursday, June 27, 2013) - The summer season is heating up. Keep it cool at the inaugural Lakeside Summer Celebration. The Celebration hits the beach on Saturday, June 29, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Ontario Beach Park with tons of family friendly activities. The lineup includes:
• Wheels in Motion Car Show - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Rec on the Move Van Activities - 12 noon to 5 p.m.
• Charlotte Genesee Lighthouse Tours - 12 noon to 5 p.m.
• Lake Ontario Brewers Fest - 12 noon to 5 p.m.
• Free Carousel Rides - 12 noon to 7 p.m.
• Historic Charlotte Walking Tours - 1 to 3 p.m.
• Community Bands - 1:30 to 4 p.m.
• Buskers - 7 to 9 p.m.
• Andy Stobie Finger Lakes Jazz Band - 7 to 9 p.m.
• Boat Parade of Lights (War of 1812 theme) - 9:15 to10 p.m.
