Description:

Calling all knitters and crocheters! We need your help to create 9x9 inch squares to create cozy throws for donation to Willow Domestic Violence Center.

Any stitch is fine, as long as it uses acrylic yarn and is 9x9 inches. We will be accepting donated squares in the Arts Division until October 22, 2016, when we will have a “Craft it Forward” party, and sew them into blankets.

About our Partner:  Willow Domestic Violence Center has provided services for the Greater Rochester community for nearly 40 years. In 2015, Willow Center changed its name from Alternatives for Battered Women (ABW) to better reflect the breadth of services they provide and the clients they serve. Their mission is to prevent domestic violence and ensure every survivor has access to the services and supports needed along the journey to a safe and empowered life.
