2011 Independence Day Celebration
Each year Rochester celebrates the July 4th Independence Day holiday in style with a spectacular display of fireworks set to the music of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.

Fireworks are launched along the historic Genesee River, allowing for multiple viewing areas on downtown bridges, Mt. Hope Avenue and Corn Hill. A long distance treat is available for those camped out on Cobb's Hill. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for more comfortable viewing of the fireworks show and concert and asked to refrain from bringing pets for everyone's safety. Food and beverage are available for purchase.

Free parking is available at the South Avenue, Court Street and Sister Cities garages.
