News Release - Rochester Public Market Cancels Special Events for Month of April Due to Coronavirus Pandemic

(Thursday, April 9, 2020) – The City of Rochester Public Market has canceled all special events scheduled to take place during the month of April due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Cancellations include the Community Garage Sale that would have occurred on April 26, as well as the Food Truck Rodeo planned for April 29.

All future special events scheduled to take place at the Market have currently been placed on hold until further notice. More information regarding the status of upcoming events will be announced as government leaders and medical professionals continue to assess the COVID-19 situation.

The Market will remain open for food access only on regular Market days during standard hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 a.m. – 1 p.m. and Saturdays, 5 a.m. – 3 p.m. The Market has also instituted new rules, regulations and precautions for the safety of patrons that can be reviewed at https://www.cityofrochester.gov/publicmarket/.
