Budget and Finance

The City of Rochester's Operating Budget and Capital Improvements Program account for all functions and services of the City government and direct resources to four major priorities: public safety, education, economic development and customer service. Revenue sources for these budgets are realized from local taxes and fees, state and federal aid and grants, investments and the sale of bonds. The City fiscal year extends from July 1 to June 30. The City has no control over the Rochester City School District Budget.
