Project Description:
This project includes pavement milling and resurfacing of
five streets in the City of Rochester:
- South Avenue (Elmwood Ave to E. Henrietta Rd)
- University Avenue (Culver Rd to Blossom Rd)
- East Avenue (Culver Rd to Probert St)
- Culver Road (Garson Ave to Laurelton Rd)
- Culver Road (Clifford Ave to Norton St)
Improvements will also include spot curb and sidewalk repair,
spot gutter repair, curb ramp upgrades, adjustment and/or repairs of manholes, receiving
basins and water valve castings, minor utility impacts, recommendations for
on-street bicycle facilities and parking regulations changes, bus stop landing pads,
replacement of traffic loops and pavement markings, and potential curb
bump-outs and mid-block crossings at select locations to improve pedestrian
safety.
This project is funded with federal, city and county funds.
