Project Description
This is a federally funded preventive maintenance project
that includes three streets in the City of Rochester:
State Street (Inner Loop to Lyell Avenue)
Exchange Boulevard (Ford Street to Basin Street)
Ford Street (South Plymounth Avenue to Exchange Boulevard)
Street improvements include milling and resurfacing of the
existing pavement, spot
curb and sidewalk replacements, accessible curb ramp replacements, valve box
frames and covers adjustment / replacements, storm / sewer manhole frames and
covers, pavement markings, signage, minor street lighting improvements, minor
tree plantings and / or removals. The project also includes recommendations for
on-street bicycle facilities and parking regulations changes, replacement of traffic loops and/or traffic cameras improvements,
pavement markings improvements, and potential curb bump-outs at select
locations to improve pedestrian safety.
This project is funded with federal, city and county funds.
