Broad St. (Broad St Bridge to South Ave) This work is part of the Rundel Library Structural Improvements Phase IV Project. Charles Carroll Plaza/Sister Cities Bridge This project consists of the construction of a new pedestrian access connection from the upper level of the Charles Carroll Park Plaza to the existing Sister Cities Brige and improvements to the lower walkway along the Genesee River.
Updated 3/29/21:  Contractor has begun work on the plaza and sister cities bridge.  Contractor work zone includes the walkway along the Genesee River from Main St to Andrews St.  Access to this area will be restricted until at least fall 2021.  Sidewalk on the south side of Andrews St is closed from State St to St Paul Blvd due to this project and the adjacent court house renovations.

East Henrietta Rd (S. City Line / Erie Canal to Westfall Rd) Improvements Work involves: rehab of the existing roadway with pavement widening where required; spot replacement of curb and sidewalk;  new street lighting system; adjustment of manholes and catch basins; new drainage system; and pavement markings. Updated 4/9/21: New traffic signal work to continue the week of April 12, 2021.

Expect traffic shifts daily.

East Main St (North Goodman St to Culver Rd) Work involves: full depth reconstruction of the existing roadway; water main; storm sewers; curb, pavement; sidewalk; signals; lighting; signing; marking; landscaping; and other streetscape enhancements. Updated 4/9/21: Water service installation to continue along south side of East Main Street. Utility contractor to continue work on Monday, April 12, 2021.

Exchange St.(Ford St to S. Plymouth Ave)
This work is part of the West River Wall Improvements Phase I
Updated 3/29/21: River trail closed from Violetta St to S. Plymouth Ave, detour in place.  Material hauling to and from the site occurring daily.  Be alert for flaggers.

Bicycle lane and shoulder closed on Exchange St. Northbound from Ford St to S. Plymouth Ave.  Be alert for bicycles in the roadway.

Main Street Streetscape & Pedestrian Wayfinding, Phase II The scope of work consists of replacement of the existing streetscape between Exchange Boulevard/State Street and South Avenue/St. Paul street. Mount Read Blvd (Buffalo Rd. to Lyell Ave.) This is a NYSDOT - Region 4 project that will resurface  Mount Read Boulevard from Rt 33 (Buffalo Rd) to the CSX Bridge north of Rt 31 (Lyell Ave) and upgrading to a roundabout at the southern limit in the City of Rochester, Monroe County.

Updated 3/29/21: Trail is closed between Ford St and Court St on the west side due to the West River Wall project.  Trail detour routes pedestrians along the west side of Exchange Blvd from Ford St to Court St in both the northbound and southbound directions.
 

East side river trail is open from Ford St to Court St.

Sager Drive (Culver Road to East Boulevard) Work consists of reconstruction of the existing pavement structure, including new watermain and services, storm sewer work, street lighting and other utilities. Conversion of street to one-way travel in the eastbound direction.     Updated 4/9/21: Work is substantially complete, punch-list and restoration work ongoing.
