Durand Eastman Beach

We are planning on operating The Durand Eastman Beach and we will re-open on  Saturday June 19th as long as the high lake levels do not return for the Summer of 2021.

Durand Eastman Beach

Durand Eastman Beach on Lake Ontario hosted over 139,000 visits in 2018! The beach, on Lakeshore Drive (map), is part of Durand Eastman Park, one of  Rochester area's four-season natural gems. The beach boasts 5,000 feet of Lake Ontario waterfront; the Park also features steep wooded slopes, valleys, scenic vistas, small lakes, spring flowering trees and wildlife including swans, turkeys, and fox; and spectacular fall foliage colors.

Swimming is supervised by beach guards in its designated area (Lot A).  All staff are trained in lifesaving, First Aid and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
