A 25-Year Rochester Holiday Tradition 

Sundays: November 29, December 6, December 13, 2020 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 

Thursday December 17th, 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. 

A Rochester holiday tradition for over 25 years, Holidays at the Market features dozens of holiday-focused vendors (trees, decorations, holiday foods and crafts, gifts, and much more), free horse-drawn wagon rides with Santa, cookie decorating, and more! 

NEW, holiday cooking demos from around the world and specialty vendors featuring crafts and items from our newest Americans and a special evening market Thursday, December 17th, 5 pm -9 pm, in collaboration with the Market District Business Association and Roc Holiday Village. (Shuttles run between the Market and Roc Holiday Village continuous from 4:30 - 10: 30 p.m.) Specials at all Market District restaurants and shops, horse-drawn wagon rides around the District and much more!!

Families can visit with Santa (from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Sunday and 5:30 - 9 p.m. on Thursday night), ride a free holiday carriage, decorate a free holiday cookie (while supplies last), and more!

Also consider giving the gift of the Market during the holiday season--get some Public Market Gift Tokens or Market Merchandise for your family and friends at the Token Center behind the Market Office, during regular Market days and hours! 


Interested in joining the festivities as a vendor? Download the application and submit via mail or directly to the Market Office, 280 N. Union Street, on Tuesday-Friday mornings.

Holiday Cookie Contest 

Once again Holidays at the Market  will host a community-wide Holiday Cookie Contest! Bring a half-dozen of your best cookies with recipe to the Market office before noon on Dec. 13, Sunday, when judging begins.
