During the City Planning Commission pre-meeting on
Monday, May 23, 2022, the second batch of draft code was released for community
review and input. Virtual public meetings occurred in mid-June where the
community had an opportunity to hear a presentation on this batch of draft
code, ask questions, and provide input.
The CPC will hold a virtual Special Session to discuss the second batch of draft code on August 8, 2022 at 5:00 pm via Zoom. The
meeting will be livestreamed and can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/c/CityofRochesterVideos.
Anyone who would like to submit a comment on the City’s
Zoning Alignment Project may do so at https://rochesterzap.com/.
This seven member citizen commission has jurisdiction and authority in the issuance of Special Permits, subdivision approvals, and a wide range of other matters. The Planning Commission also makes recommendations to City Council regarding Zoning Text and Map amendments.
